Habitat for Humanity Project

The Tellico Village Lions Club, the Loudon and Lenoir City Lions Clubs as well as the Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) and the Loudon County Habitat for Humanity organization have joined together in  building a home in Loudon County. The home was  built for a single mother with two developmentally disabled children.

The home was built in Hope Haven, Loudon County and cost about $80,000 and involved hundreds of hours of volunteer time by many Lions. The funds wereraised by the Tellico Village, Lenoir City, and Loudon County Lions Clubs. LCIF in partnership with the Habitat organization provided additional funding for construction of the home. Ground breaking took place on December 3, 2013 and the dedication of the home took place on June 22, 2014.
